Young people in an NHS inpatient unit explored their experience of arriving at and living in the unit.  Using pre-drawn templates they considered how the decor and atmosphere of the unit impacted their comfortand recovery, and as the unit was due to be redesigned they also explored what they would like to see in the new designs, contributing to a report which was submitted to the development team.
