My practice is situated in the North West Highlands of Scotland where I grew up and have now returned to live.
I work with materials which draw my interest which can often lead to exploring unusual things. I’m interested in what happens between maker and material and part of my work is paying attention to what happens within myself the process of making.
I explore themes of perception, reciprocity, belonging, becoming, and place, through self-initiated projects. Currently I am exploring these themes in relation to:

I recently completed the MA in Art and Social Practice with the University of the Highlands and Islands.
​
I am also an Art Therapist and Counsellor with over 15 years’ experience of working with young people in community arts and mental health services.
